portlandseattle

I present to you... my first ever video experiment. This is of course discounting a clip I threw together for Spanish 2 (or was it Spanish 1?) in high school many, many years ago on some obscure and probably now nonexistent movie editing freeware.

Although I've always wanted to venture into the wonderful world of video, I never got around to it. After many a deferral, here I am finally dipping my feet into the pool. Yes, in the shallow end of the kiddy pool, so viewers beware (and nice, if you please). Why share a subpar project? Honestly, it is 5:04 am and I wish I knew the reason. Just kidding; I'm in a strange but very exciting season when old dreams - the suppressed, stifled, and drowned - are rising up from the dead and coming back to life. They're braver and stronger than ever and knocking out fear on the way. No pressure, no strings, no expectations, just some carefree playing around and exploring because… because I can.

PNW group, this is dedicated to you. Thanks for the memories!
Also, many thanks to Googley, my Nexus 4, for the footage and our generous hosts Kimso and Dr. Shin without whom our adventures would not have been possible.

Here's to the PNW's crisp, clean air and greenery for days. Oregon and Washington, I love you.
